How did he find me?
My heart was shattered, so I resorted to mIRC chat rooms for social interaction. He seemed like a nice guy, but ended up being a bit of a stalker. Lucky for me, I found out on the first date. It wasn’t hard: his idea of a date was to sit in the car parked outside his ex-girlfriend’s apartment, watching her.
*sigh* Yes, I’ve been with some creeps in my time. We moved soon after I realised he wasn’t going to stop calling and I thought I was rid of him for good. A few years before my old email address got hacked into, I got an email from him asking me how life was and whether I wanted to meet up.
My mouse couldn’t get to the delete button fast enough. I only wondered how many nights he had spent watching me through my window.

Wow! He took you to sit outside his ex-girlfriends place? You should have gone up to her door and asked her for a ride home.

buy a gun, and learn how to use it.
if he comes back….well.

@William: Thing is I wasn’t sure if he’d try to kill me if I did that!
@wyledawg: lol I’ve never held a gun and I’m not sure I ever want to. I’ve taken some self-defense classes though!

do yourself a favor, go down to the local range, rent a gun, and pay the guy to show show you the proper way to use and handle it. I promise that when you knock the X out of the center, you’ll be like wow. If you like it, buy one and do whatever your state requires to carry it. There’s nothing like being in a bad situation, and knowing that you don’t have to be a victim. If it comes down to them or you, at least it’ll be an even playing field(probably your advantage, criminals usually don’t go to the range and practice. For a carriable good self-defense piece, I recomm. a Bersa .380 thunderbolt. They’re a quality gun, at a reasonable price. If nothing else, just go to the store and window shop, when you hold one you might decide to try it out.

Wyledawg, I live in Canda and here we don’t believe in guns. Furthermore, even if that’s not accurate. I don’t believe in guns. There are better ways to resolve things. I realise people won’t agree with this, but this is how I choose to live my life – and I have a right to that. But thank you for your advice
Great quote too.

Then I recommend Krav-Maga, it’s Israeli street fighting developed by the Mossad. Sometimes you don’t have the “flight” choice, and it’s either fight or die. You could carry a knife also, I don’t suggest pepper-spray( it is truely ineffective).
P.S. I wrote my story, and posted it, but so far nothing. Does it take while to post. I posted @3p.m. central standard.

P.P.S. Tasers are good too.

Krav-Maga sounds really cool. Knives can be misunderstood so I’ll stick with something like a taser.
Also, as for your post – the owner of the blog will review it and post when he’s finished but I don’t think he’s online right now.
